Our Mission:
To
be the Body of Christ “without spot or wrinkle”, ministering His
loving grace to forgive, heal, relieve, and cleanse; proclaiming
His holiness, experienced within the Church; and witnessing with
Holy Ghost anointing the Salvation of God through His only Son,
Jesus, Who alone is Christ.
II.
Our Commission:
Matthew
28:18 - 20 “And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power
is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all
things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you
alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
III.
Our Ministry:
A.
Christ’s Ministry: Isaiah 61:1 - 3 “The Spirit of the Lord
GOD is upon me; Because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good
tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison
to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of the
LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that
mourn; To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them
beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of
praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called
trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might
be glorified.” We are to teach and practice these things to fulfill
our commission.
B.
Ephesians 4:1 - 16 “I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech
you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing
one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit
in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as
ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith,
one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through
all and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according
to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore he saith, When he
ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto
men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended
first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the
same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might
fill all things.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets;
and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting
of the saints [complete furnishing, complete restoration],
for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Til we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge
of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature
of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children,
tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine,
by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie
in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up
into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom
the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which
every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the
measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying
of itself in love.”
C. Gal 5:13-16 “For, brethren, ye have been
called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the
flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled
in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love they neighbour as thyself.
But if ye bite and devour one of another. This I say then, Walk
in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
D. Matt 25:31-46 “When the Son of man shall
come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall
he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered
all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a
shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the
sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall
the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of
my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation
of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was
thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me
in: Naked, and ye clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in
prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say
unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it
unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto
me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart
from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil
and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat:
I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: I was a stranger, and
ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in
prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him,
saying, Lord, when saw we thee a stranger, and ye took me not
in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye
visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord,
when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked,
or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall
he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye
did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous
into life eternal.”
E. James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled
before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and
widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from
the world.” Go and see with the view of relieving their need.
